The BEST Southern Biscuits!! Soft, buttery, and melt in your mouth perfection. If you are looking for an authentic Southern Country Breakfast, this is it! Close to the highway, good parking, southern hospitality staff, amazing homemade food, small and cozy. Skip the Cracker Barrel the exit before, this is what Cracker Barrel is trying to be.
Great little place to stop and have breakfast or lunch!
We went for lunch. My husband had the daily special which was chicken casserole, fried potatoes (just like Granny used to make) corn and a roll. I had the hamburger with a baked potato (no upcharge). The plate lunch was great with nice sized portions. The hamburger was a thick patty cooked perfectly with your choice of condiments. The baked potato was fluffy and hot. We enjoyed our meal and plan to go back and try the breakfast. Waitress and cook were very personable and accommodating. They have a true love and dedication to this place. The place looked like the general store of days gone by. It was a great lunch, highly recommend!
Words cant describe how this takes me back! The atmosphere, country food, and warmth from the staff is so welcoming. This is a daily stop or once in a lifetime experience. Please bring your family and children. The tenderloin, egg, and cheese biscuit with tomato was smacking! Looking so forward to coming back. Support local business while you still have it to support.
Service was quick and polite. This hidden Gem has cake daily that is so moist I had no idea I loved cake. Food is great price and always done to my liking. The atmosphere is homie, not to crowded mid day and smiling faces.
They don't cheat you on the bacon biscuits. Stopped in this morning on the way to Manchester and grabbed a couple of biscuits. Mmmm good, lots of bacon. Great atmosphere in the place. Reminds you of old times. Decorated with class.
Nice little country restaurant that was once a general store/ gas station. But amber fried green tomatoes were really good and I'm looking forward to trying their famous breakfast biscuits in the near future
Best bacon and sausage I’ve ever had! My husband had the best biscuits and gravy he’s ever had! Service was amazing! The only thing better than the food was the service! Great find!!
